Julie’s love of illustration started with a passion for books that appeared suddenly, grew with vigor, and never stopped. Drawing was the natural way to express her interest – in books and everything else. She pursued it into college, graduating with a BA in Illustration from Seattle Pacific University.
Still living in Washington state not far from where she grew up, she pursues freelance illustration and sometimes escapes to enjoy the wilderness, even in the rain.
All one needs is a good raincoat.
